Octocopter
Objective
To design and build an large 8 arm autonomous drone with high power plus long range telemetry and video signal within a £500 budget.
Design Development
The Octocopter is composed of:

Carbon Fibre Octocopter frame

10inch Rotors

16000mAh LiPo Battery

1100KV Brushless Motors

25amp ESC's

6-channel RC receiver
The octocopter was only first tested to see if it would stabilise and be accurately controlled with 8 drone arms attached to a central base.
Then the octocopter was set up for GPS and automanous flights and also even longer range reciever, telemetry and video transmitter on board the central base.
More recently the ESC's have been mounted in red 3D printed brackets on the booms.
