Small 3D Printer

Objective

To design, build, test and upgrade a 3D printer with heated bed, auto leveling, LCD display and server control with camera within a £300 budget. 

Design Development

The 3D Printer has:

  • A Heated Bed

  • An LCD display for information.

  • A control board attached to a 3D printing software and server.

  • A filament holder designed for easy replacemnt of filament.

  • A faster more durable extruder.

  • A more durable and adjustable print head.

The 3D printer runs automatically over the internet or locally by computer/SD card so can run on it's own without a computer.

The LCD display shows ETA, Run time and temperatures etc. but also allows for control and change of settings/setup.
